Builders Anonymous

Let's start with what Builders Anonymous is not. It's not a founder community. It's not a startup network. It's not a place to pitch your idea or find your first users.

Before AI, building software took so much effort that it was mostly for people who wanted to start a business. If you weren't good enough, you stopped. If you were good enough, it became your job. There was no space for people who just wanted to build for the joy of it. AI changed that.

Builders Anonymous is an in-person community in Frankfurt for people who just can't stop building things with AI. We know there are already thousands of the same products out there. We know we need to sleep more. But we just can't stop.

We build for ourselves. For fun. Not for users, not for the market. With AI, we can finally build the apps, websites, and tools we always wanted. Some of us even publish and charge money for it. Not to build a business. The process itself is the point.

Maybe you're a teacher who finally built your own teaching game. Maybe you're an accountant who automated your weekly analysis. Maybe you're a nurse who built a shift planner that actually works. Builders Anonymous is for you.

We hold regular events. The format is simple. People show what they've built, share how they built it, and confess what they probably shouldn't have done. Stayed up until 3am to fix one small bug. Set an alarm for when the token limit resets. Paid way too much for AI tools this month. Think of it like a support group, but for building software.

You don't have to show anything to join. If you just want to listen and learn, you're welcome.

No pitches, no recruiting, no product promotion during the event. If you meet someone and decide to build a startup together afterwards, that's great. But the event itself is about the craft, the obsession, and the joy of making things nobody asked for.

Sleeping at our events is encouraged. Your token limit shouldn't be the only reason you rest.
